Carol Lobron

Carol Lobron collaborates with nonprofit boards and executive leaders in organizational strategy, fundraising, and talent management. A seasoned nonprofit professional with nearly three decades of experience, she partners with clients to manage complex organizational change, develop and sustain effective CEOs and boards, and acquire and mentor executive leaders.

Prior to joining Development Guild/DDI, Carol served as Chief Operating Officer of Combined Jewish Philanthropies of Greater Boston, where she reported to the President and Board of Directors. Highlights of her 15-year tenure include oversight of the annual operating budget and a staff in excess of 100, optimizing the effectiveness of multiple board chairs, and management of a new organizational structure that led to significant year-over-year growth. Earlier in her career, Carol held a variety of leadership positions at organizations including the Children’s Extended Care Center (a pediatric nursing home owned by Children’s Hospital Boston), the Department of Community Medicine at Tufts University School of Medicine, and the Health Affairs Office of the Office of Economic Opportunity.

Carol, who holds a B.A. from University of Chicago and an M.S. from Purdue University, currently serves as a Trustee of Hebrew Senior Life and the American Jewish Historical Society. She has also served on the boards of Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts, Vinfen, Hearth, and Massachusetts Senior Care Foundation.
