Lorraine Sahagian

Lorraine Sahagian, Senior Consultant, brings over twenty-eight years of fundraising and consulting experience to her work at Development Guild/DDI. Through her work with a diverse range of nonprofits, Lorraine offers expertise in the areas of capital campaigns, major gifts, board development, annual giving, planned giving, staff recruitment, and development operations and management.

Lorraine’s recent clients include Planned Parenthood of Northern New England, Camphill Village USA, Cushing Academy, Sophia Snow Place, Italian Home for Children, The Speyer Legacy School, and Two/Ten International Foundation.

Prior to joining Development Guild, Lorraine served in leadership positions at Robin Hood, Planned Parenthood Federation of America, Martha’s Vineyard Hospital, and Hampshire College. In each of these positions, Lorraine significantly elevated the institution’s fundraising programs. At Robin Hood, Lorraine grew and helped manage a team that raised over $112 million annually in support of Robin Hood’s innovative poverty fighting initiatives in New York City. As Director of Major Gifts at Planned Parenthood Federation of America’s headquarters in New York, she created the organization’s major gift program resulting in significant increases in revenue. For close to a decade Lorraine played a leadership role in significantly expanding Hampshire College’s advancement efforts including launching, at that time, the College’s largest campaign.
