Victoria joined Development Guild/DDI in 1998 and brings more than 30 years experience in nonprofit fundraising and management. She leads a variety of organizational strategy, fundraising and executive search engagements, and particularly focuses her work in the areas of campaigns and major gift initiatives. As fundraising practice leader, Victoria is also responsible for ensuring that each client receives high quality, impactful counsel services; and that these services reflect the collective experience of the firm and of industry trends and best practices.
Victoria has been particularly successful in designing culture-transforming campaigns for clients that include the American Cancer Society, Barnard College, Bennington College, Mass Audubon Society, Noble and Greenough School, University of Massachusetts Boston, and Wheaton College. She has also effectively strengthened fundraising programs through Development Guild/DDI’s combination of organizational strategy, fundraising, and executive search with Children’s Hospital Trust, Emerson College, Health Leads, Suffolk University, and Wellesley College. Through her work, Victoria has crafted well-tested, evidence-based models of return on investment, goals and projections, and business plans, as well as other significant approaches that inform our practice.
Prior to joining Development Guild/DDI, Victoria held several staff campaign roles in the positions of Director of Major Gifts, Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations, Campaign Director, and Vice President for Development and Public Affairs. In these roles, Victoria provided senior staff leadership for three campaigns, large signature fundraising events, Board recruitment and development, and communications.
