Victoria Jones
Victoria Jones, Senior Vice President and Principal, joined Development Guild/DDI in 1998 and brings more than 30 years experience in nonprofit fundraising and management. She leads a variety of planning, fundraising and search projects, and particularly focuses her work in the areas of major gifts and campaigns.
Victoria has been highly successful in designing first ever and culture-transforming campaigns for clients that include American Cancer Society-New England, Bennington College, The MacDowell Colony, Mass Audubon Society, Pathfinder International, and Wheaton College. She has also effectively strengthened fundraising programs through Development Guild’s combination of planning, fundraising, and search with AFS-USA, Children’s Hospital Trust, Emerson College, the National Coalition for Cancer Survivorship, Suffolk University, Thirteen/WNET, and Wellesley College. One of Victoria ‘s longstanding clients, Children’s Hospital Trust, successfully reached and surpassed its campaign goal with a staff team for which she and others in the firm recruited nearly 30 members for the effort. Through her work, Victoria has crafted well-tested, evidence-based models of return on investment, goals and projections, and business plans, as well as other significant approaches that inform our practice.
Much of Victoria’s early career focused on institutions with health-related missions, including Portsmouth Regional Hospital, Children’s Hospital, and Dimock Community Health Center. In these positions, Victoria provided senior staff leadership for a number of campaigns, large signature fundraising events, Board recruitment and development, and communications.
