Karen Lieberman-Daly
Karen Lieberman-Daly, CFRE, is Senior Vice President and Principal of Development Guild/DDI. Since 1989, she has worked closely with the President and Chief Executive Officer of the firm to oversee its operations and growth. Karen's focus is in program, capital and endowment campaign fundraising - including feasibility studies, strategic planning and implementation. She also provides counsel for non-profit board development, staff development, and executive search. Karen designed Development Guild/DDI's approaches to comprehensive capital campaign, feasibility study and audit/assessment processes. She has also been instrumental in the creation of Development Guild/DDI's unique approaches to planning for fundraising.
Karen's clients have included Boston Athenaeum, Museum of Science, Harvard School of Dental Medicine, Forsyth Institute, Greater Boston Food Bank, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International, Lifespan Health System, Mount Sinai School of Medicine, Northeastern University, Pathfinder International, Perkins School for the Blind, Pine Street Inn, Roger Williams Park Zoo and Unitarian Universalist Service Committee.
Karen is a Certified Fundraising Executive, a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, and a Director of Interspace Airport Advertising. She is a past faculty member at Radcliffe Seminars and a former Board member of the New England Association for Healthcare Philanthropy. She served as Vice President of Women in Development and is currently an active member. Prior to joining Development Guild/DDI, Karen was Director of Development for Tufts-New England Medical Center, Director of Corporate Relations for Boston University, and Associate Staff for the United States House of Representatives Appropriations Committee.
