Marilyn Edmunds
Marilyn Edmunds, MSPH, Senior Consultant, brings twenty years of senior management experience to her work with Development Guild/DDI. She has focused her career on nonprofits with international health and science missions and offers expertise on development of international program and funding strategies; foundation and government fundraising; strategic planning and Board governance, and staff assessment and management.
Prior to her work with Development Guild, Marilyn served as Vice President of Program Development and Communications at Pathfinder International. At Pathfinder, she worked with non-governmental organization leaders and health professionals across four continents to develop women's health and HIV/AIDS programs, identify funding opportunities, and prepare proposals. She also managed development teams, worked with Boards of Directors on governance issues, and negotiated and led partnerships seeking funds from large public and private sector donors. Marilyn has successfully garnered multi-million dollar, multiple year awards to support programs in 15 countries.
At Development Guild, Marilyn has led projects with clients including Drugs for Neglected Diseases (DNDI), Perkins School for the Blind, Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts, Roadrunner Food Bank of New Mexico and the Wellesley Centers for Women. Marilyn received her bachelor's degree from Carnegie-Mellon University and a Master of Science in Public Health from the University of Pittsburgh .
