The Dimock Center welcomes Diane Malcolmson as its new Vice President of Development and Communications.
Dimock is nationally recognized as a model for integrated delivery of comprehensive health and human services in an urban community. From its historic nine-acre campus in Roxbury, and satellite locations throughout Boston, Dimock enhances the health, well being and potential of the people they serve by providing high quality accessible health care, human services, education and skills development As the new Vice President, Diane and Dimock's CEO, Ruth Ellen Fitch, will develop a vision and strategy for a diverse fundraising program. Diane will also manage a multi-faceted communications program to complement their fundraising efforts. Diane most recently served as Senior Director of National Development with Year Up. Diane has also worked with a number of other institutions in New England including Harvard University, Partners Healthcare, and Outdoor Explorations.

Perkins School for the Blind is pleased to announce Kathy Sheehan as its new Executive Director of the Perkins Trust.
Perkins School for the Blind is the alma mater of Helen Keller and the world leader in serving individuals who are blind and deafblind around the world. Perkins School for the Blind created The Perkins Trust in 2007 to advance its mission and its local, national, and international programs through philanthropic initiatives. In her new role, Kathy will serve as a member of the senior management team and will report directly to the President, Steven Rothstein. Kathy will lead a staff of 23 Perkins Trust staff in addition to partnering with the Perkins Trust Board to complete the $130M comprehensive campaign. Kathy was most recently Vice President for Development at Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston. Prior to that position, Kathy held senior development positions at Wellesley College and Harvard Divinity School.

The Rhode Island School of Design announces Molly Garrison as its new Planned Giving Officer and Talya Westbrook as its new Leadership Giving Officer.
Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) has earned a worldwide reputation as the preeminent art and design college in the United States. The RISD mission is to educate its students and the public in the creation and appreciation of works of art and design, to discover and transmit knowledge and to make lasting contributions to a global society through critical thinking, scholarship and innovation. Molly and Talya will join a strong team of fundraisers focused on implementing a new vision for RISD philanthropy. They will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on fundraising at RISD, and will play a role in building the program and developing new strategies to engage donors. Molly most recently served as the Director of Leadership Gifts at the Wheeler School in Providence. She has also held roles at Worcester Academy and Brown University. Talya comes to RISD from her role as Individual Giving Officer at Mount Holyoke College. Prior to Mount Holyoke, Talya was a CASE Fellow at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

The Unitarian Universalist Service Committee (UUSC) welcomes Charles Huschle as its new Senior Associate for Major Gifts and Daniel Karp as its Senior Associate for Donor Marketing.
The Unitarian Universalist Service Committee (UUSC) is an independent, non-sectarian organization that advances human rights and social justice in the U.S. and in more than 27 countries abroad. UUSC envisions a world free from oppression and injustice, where all can realize their full human rights. UUSC is currently in the planning phases of a capital campaign to increase its impact in all four of its core program areas. Charles and Daniel will be part of a team of seven professionals reporting to the Director of Institutional Advancement, Maxine Neil.
In his new role as Senior Associate for Major Gifts, Charles Huschle will work closely with the development team to create solicitation strategies for major gift donor prospects. Charles will manage a portfolio of individuals, family foundations and small businesses located in the Northeast. Charles was most recently the Foundations Officer at Families First Parenting Programs in Cambridge . He also currently provides consulting services to the Bonnie J. Addario Lung Cancer Foundation. Previously, Charles has held positions as an event manager and an English teacher.
In his new role as Senior Associate for Donor Marketing, Daniel Karp will develop and execute new strategies and enhance existing processes for all donor marketing efforts with a focus on direct mail, telegiving, and online giving. Daniel will help drive revenue enhancement through donor acquisition, segmentation and upgrade and will manage vendor relationships. Most recently Daniel served as Development Director for International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War. Prior to joining IPPNW, he was the Director of Marketing and Development for The Ellie Fund.

Angela Lomanto joins Camphill Village USA as its new Director of Development.
Camphill Village USA, located in Copake, New York, is an extraordinary interdependent community of adults with developmental disabilities who live and work in 21 homes on a 600-acre biodynamic farm. Part of an international movement of 105 communities (including 10 others in North America) and schools that work with special needs children and adults in Europe, Africa, Russia and North America, Camphill Village fosters a life where each community member can reach his/her fullest human potential. In her new role, Angela will report to the Executive Director, Richard Neal, and be an integral member of the Village's administrative team. She will provide support and guidance to the Development Committee of the Board of Directors, develop and execute plans for all fundraising programs and oversee and mentor a small development staff. Angela has held development leadership positions for the Boston Day and Evening Academy , Massachusetts Horticultural Society and Fulton-Montgomery Community College and Foundation. Most recently she worked with Mitchell College to rebuild its development office and continue its successful $10M campaign.

Mount Sinai Medical Center announces Karen Colimore as its new Director of Development, Heart.
Mount Sinai Medical Center, located in New York City, consists of The Mount Sinai Hospital and Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Mount Sinai Medical Center is internationally acclaimed for excellence in clinical care, education, and scientific research in medicine. In support of Mount Sinai 's $1 billion campaign, Karen will raise funds for one of the medical centers most prominent areas, the Cardiovascular department, as well as the Cardiovascular Institute and Center for Cardiovascular Health. Karen will report to the Vice President of Individual Philanthropy. Karen brings twenty year of experience to this position, having most recently been Senior Director of Development for the Cancer Institute at New York University Langone Medical Center . Prior to this position Karen served as President and CEO of Princeton Regional Chamber of Commerce. |
