Jill joins US Sailing after serving as Vice President of Philanthropy for Plan International USA since 2014. There, she led the development team while exponentially growing the fundraising program culminating in the launch of a $50m campaign. Prior to her role at Plan, Jill held fundraising leadership positions at the University of Rhode Island, YMCA of Greater Providence, Coast Guard Foundation, Save The Bay, and Bryant College. Jill received her B.S. in Business Administration from Bryant College and is a native of Rhode Island.
As Chief Development Officer, Jill will design, lead, and implement a sustainable development strategy to increase philanthropic revenue for US Sailing’s mission and programs, including youth development and the Olympics. She will work closely with CEO, Jack Gierhart, the Foundation Chair and the Board of Directors and serve as a key strategist and member of US Sailing’s senior leadership team. Jill shares a passion for sailing having raced and cruised in monohulls, while currently cruising on a cat and belonging to two sailing clubs.
