I hope this email finds you well and enjoying these splendid end of summer days. Summers at Development Guild are always fascinating (and busy!) and this year is no different. Many of our clients find this time of year their most intense. This is especially true for our arts and museum clients, such as Storm King Art Center, New England Aquarium, Ogunquit Playhouse, Cape Ann Museum, Museum of Arts and Design, The Yard, Jacob’s Pillow, and the National Coast Guard Museum Association. Their extraordinary work motivates us daily, and the opportunity to experience their diverse summer offerings firsthand certainly inspires us!
Speaking of our team, we are in search for some talented new members to join us. We are on a serious growth trajectory and currently have several new positions open. Any suggestions you have would be most welcome.
On behalf of all of here at Development Guild we appreciate your interest and support.
Our President Bill Weber is a fan of analogies, especially when they help him wrestle with an interesting challenge. So when the expression “fixing the plane while flying it” became popular in Silicon Valley, he thought to ask nonprofit leaders how it can apply to and inform their planning strategies. On our blog he shares the interesting replies he received and how your organization can adapt to rapid change within the field by planning with agility.
