Dan Breen joins Lawrence General Hospital as Chief Development Officer

Lawrence General Hospital (LGH) is pleased to welcome Dan Breen as Chief Development Officer.

Dan joins LGH with over 34 years of development experience across a variety of sectors including higher education, arts organizations, and independent schools. Most recently, Dan held the role of Director of Development at Ogunquit Playhouse where he built the fundraising operation and aided the organization through the COVID-19 pandemic by raising $3.5M as part of a ‘Bridge Fund’ to support the organization. Previously, he held roles at George School, Middlebury College, and the Boston Symphony Orchestra. As a fourth-generation Lawrencian, Dan is excited to join LGH and raise support for its mission and vision.

As Chief Development Officer, Dan is responsible for increasing fundraising success, including the design and implementation of a comprehensive development plan to support the mission and strategic goals of LGH. Dan will report to the President and CEO and work closely with the Board of Trustees.
