The Hammer Museum in Los Angeles is pleased to welcome Aiza Keesey as their new Chief Development Officer.
Aiza comes to the Hammer Museum from Pomona College, where she served as Campaign Director and Assistant Secretary to the Board. Aiza has also held development roles at USC School of Architecture, California Institute of the Arts and The Metropolitan Museum of Art.
In her role at Pomona College, she was a member of the Advancement senior team and the overall lead architect of the largest fundraising campaign in the College’s history. Aiza provided counsel and guidance to the President and VP for Advancement, she helped to define and assess strategic choices for the campaign.
For nearly ten years, Aiza held several development roles at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. As the Development Officer, West Coast, she was responsible for planning and executing programs as well as working closely with senior leadership to coordinate overall fundraising strategies.
At the Hammer Museum, Aiza will report to Fred Yeries, Deputy Director, External Affairs and is responsible for the design, management, and execution of the museum’s annual fundraising program.
She is honored and excited to join the Hammer Museum as the Chief Development Officer.
