Anne Dugan
Infant Toddler Children’s Center (ITC) is pleased to welcome Anne Dugan as the Center’s inaugural Director of Development (DoD).
Located in the heart of Acton, Massachusetts, ITC has been a pioneering force in early childhood education for over four decades. Dedicated to nurturing young learners in a warm, engaging, and child-centered environment, ITC provides a safe and supportive space where approximately 100 children per year explore the world around them with curiosity and confidence.
As DoD, Anne will serve as the architect of ITC’s first formal fundraising program. She will lead a comprehensive philanthropic strategy focused on expanding individual giving, securing critical foundation support, strengthening donor engagement, and preparing to launch the Center’s first-ever capital campaign to enhance facilities and programs. Her work will be instrumental in ensuring ITC’s sustainable growth and deepened impact.
Bringing more than a decade of nonprofit fundraising experience to ITC, Anne previously served as Development Director at Family ACCESS of Newton. There, she oversaw a portfolio of foundations, executed successful individual donor strategies, and managed fundraising activities for the organization’s capital campaign. Prior to her time at Family ACCESS of Newton, Anne served as a Principal at AMD EventWorks, LLC, where she provided fundraising, grant writing, event planning, donor stewardship, and board management consulting services to local nonprofits. Notably, Anne’s pivotal collaboration with the Friends of the Waltham Family School board was instrumental in transforming it from a new nonprofit into a stable, thriving force within the Waltham community.
Anne’s enthusiasm for ITC’s mission stems from her passionate belief in the transformative potential of early childhood experiences. Her own upbringing in Denmark shaped her perspective, instilling a deep conviction that nature-based play fosters healthy development of the whole child. She is eager to partner with ITC’s dedicated leadership, committed educators, and supportive community in the Center’s exciting next chapter.
