Anne Hayes

Gather is pleased to welcome Anne Hayes as the new Executive Director. Anne joins Gather from The Food Project in Lincoln, MA, where she served as their Executive Director. In this role, Anne managed and led The Food Project across two regions, including 6 farms, 4 greenhouses, and 3 offices. Anne expanded programming, increased fundraising, collaborated with Board and staff to develop a five-year strategic plan, initiated Board and Staff DEI committees, and much more. Prior to this role, Anne served as the Chief Operating Officer at the Trinity Boston Foundation, helping to grow revenues, spearheading organizational restructuring, and leading programming and evaluation work within the organization.

In her new role as Executive Director at Gather, Anne will be responsible for the overall management of the organization, including resource allocation and business operations. She will help the organization to establish clear goals and direction, inspire and lead a diverse team, and champion Gather’s vision and values. Anne is excited to bring her passion for food security and experience leading non-profit organizations to Gather in Portsmouth, NH.
