Mystic Aquarium welcomes Ari Skalet as its new Senior Director of Advancement. Ari will help lead, manage, and grow the advancement program at Mystic Aquarium with a specific focus on individual giving and corporate sponsorships.

Previously, Ari served as Director Regional Development for the Northeast Region at The Florida State University Foundation. In this position, Ari solicited and closed major gifts among Florida State University alumni, donors, and friends in the Northeast corridor.

Ari will play a major role in shaping the future of Mystic Aquarium. In collaboration with the Chief Advancement Officer, Tina Couch, the Development staff, as well as other Aquarium leadership, Ari will build relationships with key stakeholders to help achieve Mystic Aquarium’s fundraising priorities. Originally from Connecticut, Ari was visitor to the Aquarium growing up and he is excited to serve as a passionate and persuasive ambassador for the Aquarium’s ambitious plans.
