Boston University (BU) is pleased to welcome David Burnham as Director of Development, College of General Studies/School of Education (formerly Senior Development Officer at Wheaton College). Under the leadership and direction of President Robert A. Brown, BU has become a rapidly evolving, diverse, exceptionally engaged, and academically broad institution that encompasses the liberal arts, science and engineering, the fine arts, and the professions.
Joining DAR in completing BU’s $1.5 billion campaign, David will increase support to provide for faculty and students and to build BU’s vibrant campus. He will manage a portfolio of leadership gift prospects and work closely with DAR leadership and Deans of the Colleges and Schools of BU in advancing a wide range of fundraising activities, programs, and priorities.
Launched in September 2012, The Campaign for Boston University, a $1 billion capital campaign, has been extended to reach a $1.5 billion goal. Development and Alumni Relations’ senior leadership includes outstanding individuals recruited from some of the best institutions in the world and is led by Senior Vice President, Scott Nichols.
