Mobilization for Justice (MFJ) is pleased to welcome Elaine Shea as Director of Institutional Giving.
Elaine joins MFJ with over 12 years of experience in development at the Center for Court Innovation. Elaine started at the Center as a Development Associate and quickly worked her way up to become Associate Director of Development and most recently held the position of Deputy Director of Development. As Deputy Director of Development, Elaine oversaw the development and execution of grant proposals for an approximately $84 million justice system reform nonprofit and directly led grant management for one-third of all organization operations. Elaine’s passion for social justice makes her the perfect fit for MFJ.
As Director of Institutional Giving at MFJ, Elaine will partner with senior management and work collaboratively with the MFJ team to develop funding proposals and strategies. Elaine will also be responsible for implementing a strategy to guide program growth, expand funding sources, leverage existing prospects, and build sustainable organizational partnerships. She is excited to craft proposals to secure major government, private foundation and corporate funding for MFJ.
