Gena Ricciardi joins Rosie’s Place as Director of Major Gifts

Rosie’s Place is pleased to announce Gena Ricciardi as its new Director of Major Gifts.

Gena joins Rosie’s Place from Spoonfuls, where she serves as Director of Individual Giving & Special Events and leads fundraising strategies supporting a $5.6 million annual development goal. In this role, she manages a portfolio of donors making five- and six-figure gifts, oversees individual giving and special events programs, and supervises development staff. Previously, Gena spent more than seven years with Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston in progressively senior fundraising roles, including Director of Annual Giving, where she led annual giving initiatives, managed donor portfolios, and helped strengthen the organization’s pipeline of leadership and major gift donors.

As Director of Major Gifts at Rosie’s Place, Gena will lead strategies to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward major donors in support of the organization’s mission and long-term growth. She will manage a portfolio of individual donors and prospects, develop compelling gift opportunities, and work closely with organizational leadership to engage supporters and expand philanthropic investment. Gena will also oversee the major gifts team, provide mentorship and guidance to staff, and collaborate across the organization to strengthen donor engagement and advance Rosie’s Place’s fundraising goals.
