Halbe Dougherty-Wood

Upstream USA is pleased to welcome Halbe Dougherty-Wood as Director, Investor Relations.

Halbe joins Upstream USA with over 15 years of experience, including seven years in advancement roles at the University of Washington. At UW, she served as the Director of Advancement for the Paul G. Allen School of Computer Science & Engineering, successfully developing and executing a fundraising and communications strategy for a $110M capital campaign. Most recently, Halbe was a Partner for Operations & Strategic Growth at New Theory, a creative web agency, where she led operations, culture, and business strategy. Earlier in her career, Halbe worked as a Senior Development Officer at the Posse Foundation.

In her new role, Halbe will develop and oversee the investor relations strategy while managing a small team of direct reports. Additionally, Halbe will be responsible for producing sophisticated content on behalf of the CEO and senior leadership for a variety of investor audiences and will manage a sub-portfolio of major gifts. Halbe is excited to join Upstream USA at a time of pivotal organizational impact and growth.
