The Children’s Advocacy Center of Suffolk County (CAC) welcomes Heidi Daniels as its new Chief Advancement Officer. Previously, Heidi worked as a consultant specializing in team building, Board and staff retreats, strategic planning, and communications. Her professional background also includes positions as: Vice President, Development & External Affairs at Pine Street Inn; Executive Director, New England Chapter at Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF); Director of Fund Development at Prevent Child Abuse – New Jersey; Founding Executive Director at The Ruth Bass Foundation; Manager of Special Events at The Washington Center; and Field Service Director, Special Events Coordinator at the National Kidney Foundation. Heidi has also been a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals for over 30 years.
As Chief Advancement Officer, Heidi will oversee all advancement programs at the CAC, including annual giving, major gifts, capital funding, corporate sponsorship, advancement operations, and government and foundation support. As part of the CAC’s senior management team, Heidi will develop and execute philanthropic strategies and implement long term advancement plans to significantly enhance philanthropic giving.
