The Family Pantry of Cape Cod is pleased to welcome Jeffrey A. Cornish as its new Executive Director.
Most recently, Jeffrey served as Country Representative for Rwanda with Church World Service, where he led a US Government sponsored refugee support program and was key to the country program’s strategic planning, operations, and program delivery. He managed a multi-million dollar portfolio and a multicultural team of 48 employees. Previously, as President and CEO of Douglas County United Way, he led fundraising, grantmaking, and community impact initiatives, raising needed resources and building cross-sector partnerships focused on food security, health, housing, and workforce development.
At The Family Pantry of Cape Cod, Jeffrey will provide strategic and operational leadership for the organization and its supportive social enterprise, the Second Glance thrift store. He will oversee staff, volunteers, fundraising, financial management, and community partnerships while working closely with the Board of Directors to advance the Pantry’s mission and long-term sustainability. Jeffrey will also play a key role in implementing the organization’s long-range growth strategy, helping expand services and strengthen The Family Pantry’s ability to meet the evolving needs of Cape Cod residents. Drawing on extensive experience leading mission-driven organizations, he will work collaboratively with staff, volunteers, donors, and community partners to deepen the Pantry’s impact across the region.
