Julie joins Cedars-Sinai from UCLA, where she most recently served as the Executive Director of Development, Life Sciences. Earlier in her career, she held roles at CCS Fundraising and University of California Irvine’s Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center, where she served as Senior Director of Development and managed a major campaign.
As Executive Director of Development, Cancer, Julie will be responsible for building and cultivating a robust portfolio of current and prospective major and principal gift donors. These activities will play a significant role in providing the philanthropy needed to support Cedars-Sinai’s highest priorities in Cancer. She will lead a team of four professional senior fundraisers and support staff. Julie will collaborate with physicians and Cedars-Sinai’s leadership, including renowned cancer clinician and scientist Dan Theodorescu, MD, PhD. Julie will report to the Vice President of Development, Heather Vucetin.
