The College of the Holy Cross is pleased to announce Katherine McKay as the new Director of Gift Planning. Katherine comes to Holy Cross with over a decade of experience in planned giving and most recently served as Director of Gift Planning at Deerfield Academy. Prior roles include Associate Director of Planned Giving at Wheaton College and Planned Giving Representative at The Salvation Army, MA Division. She holds a B.A. from Mount Holyoke College, is a member of the Partnership for Philanthropic Planning, and is the former president of the Planned Giving Group of New England.
Reporting to the Director of the Office of Principal Giving and Gift Planning, Tom Flynn, Katherine will work towards expanding and enhancing the College’s Gift Planning program. As planned gifts have played an integral role in the success of Become More | Campaign for the Future of Holy Cross, the College’s $400 million comprehensive campaign, Katherine will continue to secure significant gifts to the College during this period of transformative growth. She will manage and collaborate with the Associate Director of Gift Planning, serve as a member of the College’s Gift Acceptance Committee, and work closely with the College’s financial management team and its general legal counsel. Katherine joins the 55-person Advancement team led by Tracy Barlok, Vice President of Advancement.
