Most recently, Laura served as Senior Philanthropic Advisor at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, where she successfully worked to identify and secure support for a $1 billion capital campaign and managed a portfolio of 150+ major, planned, and principal gifts donors and prospects. Prior, she held various development positions with increasing levels of responsibility at St. Jude Children’s Hospital and Vanderbilt Kennedy Center in Nashville, TN.
As Chief Philanthropy Officer, Laura will be charged with leading the organization’s fundraising program into the next stage of its growth. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, Meghan Gutierrez, she will design, lead, and implement a sustainable development strategy to increase philanthropic revenue and support from a diverse constituency. Laura will work closely with the CEO and Board of Directors, serving as a member of the Foundation senior leadership team, directing all aspects of donor development and giving. Additionally, she will partner with Gutierrez to launch and manage LRF’s newly created CEO Advisory Council. Council members will provide support and resources to realize LRF’s mission.
