The Peck School is pleased to welcome Lauren Spirig as its new Campaign Director. Lauren joins The Peck School with a decade of development experience and has most recently served as Director of Development at The Calhoun School. Prior to her time at Calhoun, Lauren worked at the Arthritis Foundation as a Major Gifts Associate and at New York Law School as a Capital Campaign Manager. She holds a B.A. in Human Development from Boston College, and a Master of Public Administration in Public and Nonprofit Management and Policy from New York University.
The Peck School is a coed, K-8, independent school in Morristown, NJ. Since its founding in 1893, Peck has stood for excellence in education. While Peck prides itself on rigorous academic programs, it is committed to developing students with a strong sense of community and moral responsibility. In 2015, under the leadership of the new Head of School, Peck embarked on a thoughtful and inclusive process to define a vision for continued excellence grounded in Peck’s proud history and traditional values. The resulting strategic plan and subsequent master plan outlined the evolution of a successful Peck School model, one that strengthens its programs and reimagines its facilities in the spirit of academic excellence with a continued emphasis on the importance of fostering connections and building community.
As Campaign Director, Lauren will serve as a key member of the advancement team at Peck. She will work closely with Head of School, Director of Advancement and the Campaign Steering Committee to help shape and carry out a fundraising plan in support of master plan priorities. Lauren will help ensure that the campaign is successful, well-integrated with annual fund efforts, and builds the foundation for a major gifts program at Peck.
