Lele joins New York Law School from Seeds of Peace, a peacebuilding and leadership development organization, where she served as the Director of Advancement. In this role, Lele oversaw all communications and development efforts while managing an eight-person team. Prior to this role, Lele held several other positions at Seeds of Peace including Interim Liaison to the Board, Director of Development, and Deputy Director of Development. Before her time at Seeds of Peace, Lele served as Assistant Dean for Development at the Philip Merril College of Journalism, University of Maryland and led advancement and development teams at St. Andrew’s Episcopal School, and Georgetown Day School.
In her new role as Assistant Dean of Development, Lele will serve as a member of the Dean’s senior management team, reporting directly to the Associate Dean for Institutional Advancement and working closely with the Dean and President of New York Law School, Anthony Crowell. Lele will be responsible for accelerating a robust fundraising stream, with specific emphasis on designing and implementing a major gifts program. She will be charged with managing and growing a portfolio consisting of alumni and friends of the School and will help to grow a culture of philanthropy at New York Law School.
