AgeSpan is pleased to welcome Chief Development Officer Maria Gudinas. In her new role, Maria will develop, implement, and expand AgeSpan’s fundraising program with focus on establishing a culture of philanthropy within the organization.
Reporting to Chief Strategy Officer Jennifer Raymond and working closely with Chief Executive Officer Joan Hatem-Roy, the team will work together to align all elements of the organization’s development and fundraising functions with the strategic plan and ensure the integration of the vision, core values, and culture of AgeSpan into the overall strategy. Maria will oversee a team of three development professionals and will also work closely with AgeSpan’s Philanthropic Alignment Committee.
Maria brings more than 25 years of leadership experience in the nonprofit sector leading and implementing comprehensive fundraising programs. She most recently worked as Director of Development for the University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law; prior to that, she held senior level positions with University of New Hampshire, Granite United Way, Merrimack Valley YMCA, and YWCA of Greater Lawrence. Maria is happy to be returning to an organization serving the Merrimack Valley community and has always been impressed by AgeSpan’s mission and commitment to the communities they serve. Maria is excited by the opportunity to oversee development strategy in an entrepreneurial and innovative environment.
