Montefiore and Einstein is pleased to welcome Min Um-Mandhyan as Director, Alumni Relations.
Min comes to Montefiore and Einstein from Stonybrook University, where she served as the Director of Development for the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences. In this role, Min was charged with developing and implementing a comprehensive fundraising program. She worked closely with the Department Chairs of the Computer Science, Applied Math and Statistics, and Women in Science and Engineering Honors Program to create philanthropic advisory boards and manage agendas. She was also more broadly engaged in the campus community by managing an annual 24-hour hackathon, volunteering on various committees, and mentoring students. Her passion to create a larger impact on social justice has been a driving force in her career. Min received degrees from Sookmyung Women’s University, School of Music and Carnegie Mellon University, School of Public Policy and Management.
In her new role as Director, Alumni Relations, reporting to Senior Executive Director, Kristen Kidder, Min will be responsible for designing and implementing meaningful engagement among Montefiore and Einstein alumni/ae with the goal of increasing philanthropic support. Min will also partner closely with the Einstein Alumni/ae Association Board of Governors to develop and further enhance programs, communications, and partnerships. Min will serve as a liaison between the Alumni/ae Board and academic and administrative leadership to guide overall fundraising efforts.
