Patricia “Patty” McGoldrick
The Salvation Army Eastern Pennsylvania and Delaware Division is pleased to welcome Patricia “Patty” McGoldrick as its new Divisional Director of Advancement. With nearly 30 years of experience, Patty brings a deep passion for community impact, a strong connection to TSA’s mission, and an exceptional track record in major gifts, campaign leadership, and team development.
Patty joins us from Villanova University, where she served as Executive Director of Strategic Initiatives. There, she led fundraising efforts across university-wide priorities and played a key role in a $60 million library campaign, raising $48 million to date. She personally secured over $30 million in major and principal gifts.
Prior to her work in higher education, Patty began her career in community-based nonprofits, including several years with the United Way of Southeastern Delaware County, where she was involved in all aspects of fundraising and marketing. This helped shape her hands-on mission-focused approach to development that continues to drive her success.
As Divisional Director of Advancement, Patty will lead all aspects of the Division’s community relations and development efforts, including major and planned giving, digital and direct marketing, corporate and foundation partnerships, government relations, communications, and board engagement. She will play a key role on the divisional leadership team and serve as a primary liaison to advisory boards, donors, and community stakeholders across the region.
Working closely with divisional and territorial leadership, Patty will lead fundraising strategy and strengthen donor engagement to grow support for The Salvation Army’s programs across the region.
She is excited to return to the social services sector where she can make a direct impact in the community and lead a collaborative team united by purpose, compassion, and excellence.
