Rachel joins CancerCare with eight years of development experience, most recently serving as Director, Corporate and Foundation Partnerships at the Girl Scouts of Greater New York. There, she oversaw a diverse portfolio of corporate, foundation, and government grants and developed an annual plan for strategic institutional revenue growth. Rachel previously held roles at Fiver Children’s Foundation, NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital’s Turn 2 Us Program, and the Jacob A. Riis Neighborhood Settlement House.
As Senior Grants Administrator, Rachel will work closely with the Director of Grants Administration to increase and diversify institutional revenue as part of an institutional giving team that currently raises approximately $16M each year. Central to Rachel’s role will be proposal and report development and close collaboration with program staff to ensure meaningful reporting.
