Renée joins CVB after serving as Managing Director, Northeast for William & Mary, her alma mater. There, she founded and led William & Mary University’s regional fundraising and alumni engagement office for the northeast that contributed more than $150 million toward the university’s capital campaign, which successfully closed with $1 billion raised. Prior to this, Renée held multiple fundraising roles at NYU Langone Health, including as the Senior Director of Development with responsibility for leading fundraising strategy for the Office of Science & Research, otolaryngology and the neurosciences. Earlier in her career, Renée held sales and business development roles within the commercial life sciences and genomics industry.
As Executive Director, Development, Renée will lead the strategic growth of CVB’s development program, increasing private support for CVB and engaging philanthropic partners in the organization’s mission and work. She is excited to bring her track record of success in development, as well as experience and interest in the biomedical sector, to her new role at CVB. Renée will report to the CEO and President, Dr. Magali Haas.
