Partners In Health (PIH) is an international health organization relentlessly committed to improving the health of the poor and marginalized. PIH’s mission is both medical and moral at its core – to bring the benefits of modern medical science to those most in need of them and to serve as an antidote to despair. Since its founding in 1987 by renowned anthropologist and physician and current Chief Strategist for PIH, Dr. Paul Farmer, Chair of the Board of Trustees, Ophelia Dahl, and current President of the World Bank Group, Dr. Jim Yong Kim, PIH has spread its reach around the world to Haiti, Rwanda, Lesotho, Malawi, Mexico, Russia, Peru, the Navajo Nation, Liberia, and Sierra Leone.
As the new Senior Development Officer, West Coast, Scott Garrepy will lead efforts to grow PIH’s development program on the West Coast. Working closely with the Chief Development Officer, John Malcolm, and other PIH leadership, he will serve as a key ambassador for PIH. Scott will be charged with identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of West Coast major gift donors in support of PIH’s expanding global programs.
With roots on the West Coast, Scott brings a wealth of development expertise and passion for global health equity to PIH. For the past 25+ years, Scott has held development positions at various institutions in the arts, higher education, and global health. Most recently, Scott served as the Chief Development Officer at SightLife, a global health organization committed to eliminating corneal blindness around the world.
