The Board of Directors of Studio in a School Association is pleased to welcome Tricia Blanchard as Director of Development.
Beginning January 20, 2022, Tricia joins Studio in a School from Good Shepherd Services, where she served as the Director of External Affairs. In this role, Tricia launched and managed the successful execution of a $50MM growth capital campaign, while managing external communications, public relations, and marketing. Tricia started her tenure at Good Shepherd in corporate relations before being promoted to lead the external affairs department. Prior to her work at Good Shepherd Services, Tricia worked in programmatic and fundraising roles at various organization including Settlement Housing Fund, Publicolor and American Red Cross of Greater New York.
In her new role as Director of Development, Tricia will report to the Studio NYC President, Alison Scott-Williams and partner closely with Studio Institute President, Tom Cahill. Tricia will work with leadership, program staff, and members of the Board of Directors to drive revenue, further fundraising goals, and amplify Studio’s mission. Tricia is excited to bring her passion for arts education and fundraising experience to Studio in a School.
About Studio in a School
Studio in a School is a nonprofit organization based out of Manhattan. Studio’s mission is to foster the creative and intellectual development of young people through quality visual arts programs directed by professional artists, and to collaborate with and enhance the capacity of those who provide and support arts programming for children and youth. This mission is realized through two organizational divisions.
Studio NYC reaffirms the commitment to the Studio’s core direct service by providing quality visual arts instruction to 30,000 students from Pre-K through 12th grade, in-school and after-school, in partnership with nearly 200 schools and educational sites citywide.
Studio Institute provides professional learning programs for educational systems, partnership programs with cultural and community organizations, arts internships, and the dissemination of arts education research in local and national forums. With a mandate to replicate and disseminate Studio’s model, the Institute now offers programs in Boston, Cleveland, Memphis, Newark, Philadelphia, and Providence, as well as in New York City.
