The Family Pantry of Cape Cod seeks a dynamic, experienced, and community-minded Executive Director to lead the largest food pantry on Cape Cod and advance its mission to provide food and clothing to all in need on Cape Cod.
Based in Harwich, Massachusetts, The Family Pantry of Cape Cod has provided food and clothing to all in need since 1989. Operating with a paid staff of 12 and more than 650 dedicated volunteers, the organization distributed more than 3.4M meals in 2025, serves over 3,200 households each month, and operates with an annual budget exceeding $4 million. The Pantry also serves as the regional distribution center for 17 pantries including Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard for The Greater Boston Food Bank.
In addition to its Harwich food distribution facility, The Family Pantry has a 9000 sq. ft. garden onsite to grow fresh produce, a mobile pantry that distributes bags of food across the Lower Cape, an offsite location at Cape Cod Community College, and operates a highly successful retail thrift store, Second Glance, in Harwich. Through these programs and partnerships, the organization works to ensure that individuals and families across Cape Cod have access to essential resources and are proud that they never have to turn people away who come to them for assistance.
