Theresa Leinker

Vice President, Fundraising

Our clients appreciate Theresa’s calm, collected approach to identifying opportunities, building leadership and infrastructure, and strengthening nonprofits for the long-term. Her passion for effective storytelling helps our clients to improve communications, grow philanthropy, and deepen impact.

Prior to joining Development Guild, Theresa provided strategic fundraising, governance, planning, and marketing counsel to nonprofits as the Vice President, Development Consulting at Schultz & Williams in Philadelphia. While there, she worked with a wide array of organizations, including The Philadelphia Orchestra and Kimmel Center, Girard College, Children’s National Foundation, Cornell Lab of Ornithology, and Haiti Air Ambulance. She has also held senior fundraising and marketing roles at Children’s Specialized Hospital & Foundation in New Jersey.

Theresa received a Master of Business Administration from Villanova University and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Economics from Muhlenberg College. In her free time, she enjoys feeding her curiosity by exploring new hobbies and sports (she’s a new fan of tennis), volunteering at a local food pantry, and getting outside with her dog, Zelie.
