Groundswell Fund is pleased to welcome angélique nguyễn green as their new Chief Development Officer. angélique brings work experience from Center for Popular Democracy + CPD Action, where she worked as the Chief Development Officer. angélique has also held the role of Senior Director of Development at National Domestic Workers Alliance + Care in Action, and as the Director of Development at Center for Law and Social Policy.
At Center for Popular Democracy + CPD Action, angélique acted as a key thought partner to senior leadership, as she designed and executed a development strategy to sustain the organizations’ combined c3/4 budget of $32M. She also developed a systematic moves management plan for 30 new institutional donor prospects and increased retention and renewal rates across various revenue sources.
While at National Domestic Workers Alliance + Care in Action, angélique implemented a fund development plan that expanded individual and institutional donor partnerships, resulting in a 50% increase in the c3 budget and a doubling of the c4 budget.
In her new role as the Chief Development Officer, angélique will be instrumental in the organization’s continued growth and opportunity for impact. As a member of Groundswell Fund’s executive team, she will be responsible for leading the Funder Organizing team (development and communications) and work closely with leadership and key external-facing staff to raise an annual budget of approximately $30M across Groundswell’s c3 and c4 entities.
angélique is excited to join Groundswell Fund, where she will bring her development and fundraising expertise and commitment to community-centric fundraising principles and building people power through community organizing.
