Development Guild DDI is pleased to announce that Jeffrey Wolfman has joined Fitchburg State University as their Vice President for Institutional Advancement. In this role, Jeffrey will provide strategic direction, vision and management of the university’s comprehensive fundraising programs, and serve as a key adviser to the president on all matters related to institutional advancement. Jeffrey will be responsible for the cultivation of donors, alumni, corporations, foundations, community groups, and others as part of an overall development plan. He will lead a professional staff to set and attain annual campaign, development, and constituency relations goals.
Jeffrey brings over 40 years of senior level experience in fundraising, development, grant management, marketing and annual giving to Fitchburg State. He is highly accomplished in identification, cultivation and solicitation of high gift capacity donors and foundation grants. Most recently, Jeffrey held the position of Director of Development at Hampshire College where he was responsible for overseeing all aspects of the development program. Prior to Hampshire College, Jeffrey was the Director of Institutional Advancement for the Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art in Hartford, CT. At the Museum, Jeffrey led the institution’s fundraising programs, exhibition sponsorships, special events, federal and state grants, and advancement efforts.
