Development Guild is pleased to announce that John Kershaw will be joining The Baker Center for Children and Families as Senior Director of the Manville School.
John has more than 25 years of experience in special education across a variety of schools and populations. For the past eight years, John has served in a variety of roles at Meeting Street Schools, including Program Director for the Schwartz School, Director of Special Education for the Grace School, and Head of School for the Carter School. Previously, he led special education services at the Ivy Street School. John began his career in education with a 14-year tenure at Crystal Springs School, beginning as an intern and culminating as Director of Children’s Services.
As Senior Director, John will oversee all of Manville School’s operations and, with the Manville School leadership team, provide overall leadership and set the vision for the school. John will also work in partnership with the President/CEO and senior management team of the Baker Center to develop and implement strategic goals for the School. This will ensure that Manville School leadership and staff are working together to achieve successful outcomes, consistent with the highly effective model that Manville School is known for and consistent with the overall mission of The Baker Center.
