Friends of the High Line (the High Line) is pleased to welcome Morgan Mamudi as Senior Major Gifts Officer.
Morgan joins the High Line from the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum and Foundation, where she served as Associate Director, Individual Giving. In this role, Morgan managed a portfolio of major gifts donors and prospects and worked closely with curators and leadership to raise funds for the Museum. Prior to her role at the Guggenheim, Morgan was based in Hong Kong as the Senior Development Manager at Asia Society Hong Kong Center.
In her new role as Senior Major Gifts Officer, Morgan will report directly to the Senior Director of Major and Individual Giving and collaborate with members of the High Line’s leadership, staff, Board members, major gift donors and prospects to raise funds in the effort to create connected, healthy neighborhoods through the public park in Manhattan. Morgan will drive strategy, research, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship for a portfolio of major donors and prospects to achieve the High Line’s ambitious goals. Morgan is excited to bring her passion and experience raising funds in the arts to the High Line.
About Friends of the High Line
Friends of the High Line is both a nonprofit organization and a public park on the West Side of Manhattan. Through their work with communities on and off the High Line, they are devoted to reimagining public spaces to create connected, healthy neighborhoods and cities. Built on a historic, elevated rail line, the High Line was always intended to be more than a park. You can walk through the gardens, view art, experience a performance, enjoy food or beverage, or connect with friends and neighbors—all while enjoying a unique perspective of New York City.
