St. John’s Preparatory School is pleased to announce Wendy Olson’s transition to Managing Director of Alumni Engagement.
Wendy joined St. John’s Prep in 2005 as the Dean of Students before becoming the Assistant Principal for Student Life, a role she held for the last 14 years. In these roles, Wendy has been responsible for developing and implementing a robust student life program that actively involves the entire St. John’s Prep community in educating the whole person, creating enduring personal relationships, and fostering a culture of servant leadership. Wendy has forged strong relationships with students during her tenure which will complement her new role engaging alumni.
In her new role as Managing Director of Alumni Engagement, Wendy will report to the Chief Advancement Officer and will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Alumni Office and the engagement strategies of the school’s more than 14,000 living alumni, providing leadership, creativity, strategy, and execution of a comprehensive program that advances the mission of the institution among its largest stakeholder group. Wendy will also draw upon her experience in prior roles at St. John’s Prep to coordinate with key offices across campus to provide partnership and alumni connections to advance student-facing initiatives, as well as leading efforts to engage students in philanthropic initiatives.
